I say round up the spiders in the shed, hang them on the dandelion trees, and send the whole shebang to your old trash company. Might not take care of the lawn, but hell, will you feel GOOD.

Very interesting. I would have probably had the same temporary plan as well. I am not a big remodeler thugh so I will probably avoid that fun.

See, that’s the thing about having your own home. You can put EVERYTHING and ANYTHING up on the walls, put as many holes as you can possibly imagine and then declare that you do NOT like the arrangement… And start all over again, until you do like it (or are too tired to move it, or don’t really care about that particular room that much anyways) and be done! Hooray for doing whatever the heck you want.

We purchased our house in 2007 and just this past week got around to painting the girls’ room. We started out with only two girls sharing the room, now there is three in there. Yeah… it took a while.

Same here… still living in a temporary apartment and have been extending the minimum lease for years now. Enjoy your new home! Hope we will be there soon too, because my husband is now using the duck tape to baby proof the whole apartment and I think I am starting to care…

My husband and I have been saying the exact same thing about the apartment we live in now. We thought we’d be here for a year…three and a half years later, we’re trying to decide if we should just put some art up on the walls. If anything we figure as soon as we do, we’ll probably buy a house.
