Posted on 09/06/201003/20/2011 by Backpacking Dad

It was Train Day at Ardenwood Farm in Fremont on Sunday. So, there were trains.

There were other pioneer-ish activities.

Smithing.

Quilting.

Cursing princesses to sleep for a thousand years.

There was a rockin’ banjo dance party.

And a goat.

There was a Children of the Corn reenactment.

And there was a baby-swinging contest.

Adrian was very helpful.

And there were at least four Backpacking Dads there. We are taking over the world, stroller-pushers.

We went to Newburyport which is on the ocean. They were having a Labor Day Festival with food, crafts, etc and a friend of ours was singing and playing her guitar as part of the entertainment.
