Family Photo

Posted on 01/06/201103/20/2011 by Backpacking Dad

Just before Christmas we had a photo shoot with Bug and Bean Photography to update our family photos. We used Bug and Bean when Erin was still tiny and we have lovely pictures from that day all over the house, but we didn’t have any professional shots with Adrian. So we contacted Nancy from Bug and Bean and she took us out to a spot next to the Bay Area Discovery Museum, at the foot of the Golden Gate Bridge.

The result?

There are other photos in the shot, but this is the new Family photo.

I am related to some beautiful people.

I don't think it's a fantasy if it's something that can just, you know, *

happen*, the next time you guys come to California.

She caught the one half-second where we were all sweet. Someone probably

smacked someone else with a toy car immediately after that. *cough* Emily

      *cough* Me *cough*

This photo demonstrates that your wife has VERY strong genes.

    Adorable.

      No kidding.

Although I actually had blonde hair when I was Adrian's age.

I wouldn't have been as impressed by that photo (other than, you know, by the attractiveness) if I hadn't just tried to get a family portrait where everyone looks presentable at the same time. The best we could do is one where the kids look cute and happy, Mom looks like she's on thorazine, and I look like David Hasselhoff.
