What the Heart Does

Posted on 06/27/201106/27/2011 by Backpacking Dad

Erin is curious about breathing, blood, life and death. We talked a little about what blood does in the body yesterday (with me trying to recall my Harvey), and she asked about it again today.

After Emily told her about moving oxygen to all the parts of the body, she asked Erin, “And do you know what the heart does?”

“Yeah,” Erin replied. “Your heart makes your feelings.”

Someone check my pulse, because I think she killed me with cute.

Sounds like she plucked that rubberband between her heart and her parents'. Plucked it good.

Too adorable! I love how they come up with the exact right thing to say to just make us melt at any given moment.
