Adrian and Daddy Go on Yet Another Bike/Train Dadventure

Posted on 10/15/201110/15/2011 by Backpacking Dad

Another weekend, another bike/train trip for me and the boy.

Today, I decided to take us north, to San Francisco. Nowhere special; I just saw a neighbourhood street fair advertised, in easy biking distance from the 22nd St Cal Train station. It should have been fun.

Cal Train has different plans for us, however: they broke a bridge between Bayshore and San Francisco, so we’ve had to disembark at Millbrae and figure out how to take BART to our destination. Bikes on Cal Train, even with a 2 year old in tow, are easy; we’ll see how easy it is to keep a bike and a toddler in check on BART.

Wish us luck.
