Grandma: “They are in Miami.”
Adrian: “No! MY-ami!”
Grandma: “No, it’s”Miami”, a city in Florida.”
Adrian: “No! It’s My-ami!”

Did you ever hear the Toddler’s Creed?
“If I want it, it’s mine.If I give it to you & I change my mind later, it’s mine.If I can take it away from you, it’s mine.If I had it a little while ago, it’s mine.If it’s mine, it will never belong to anybody else, no matter what.If we are building something together, all the pieces are mine.If it looks like mine, it is mine.”
Hey, it could have been worse. It could have been “It’s My-ami, Beach!”
HA! Love it. My Dad is a commercial pilot. When I was little I called it “His-Ami” because he flew out of there so much I thought it was his.
That’s a great song by Keith Whitley, in case you didn’t know. Miami, My Amy.
