Room With a View (Daytime)

Posted on 11/05/201111/05/2011 by Backpacking Dad

We walk along the boardwalk at night, behind the hotels on this sandy strip. Parties are dying (a jazz trio plays to a table of twelve at an event staged for 200), and the wind is picking up.

The club downstairs boasts past visits by dancing Kardashians; we are uncool, so we go to a late dinner.

Later, much later, we fall asleep. Miami waits for us in daylight.
