On our way home from a short, too short trip to a winery in Carmel Valley, Emily and I stopped in Capitola to look for something to bring back to the kids.
You aren’t allowed to return home from a romantic getaway empty-handed, you know.

I had, had, HAD to comment on the Capitola picture. I’m originally from the Bay Area (Santa Clara, specifically), and spent many family picnics at the beach there, at at Seacliff. Used to love the old cement ship! :) Just wanted to stop and say hello.
