We were supposed to go to Sacramento for a birthday party today, but both kids feel sick. Erin woke up with a fever this morning, and she had a restless night. She’s been very excited to read Green Eggs and Ham to her cousins but now she won’t be able to. Adrian sounds like one of the Bouvier sisters from The Simpsons. He’s been watching YouTube videos of other people playing with toys all morning. If there’s an upside to all of this, it’s that we won’t have to be in Sacramento when it’s 98 degrees. We are not a boy band. Maybe we’ll buy them some cake.
