What an exciting time for you and your daughter. I didn’t realized she’s the same age as my granddaughter. And yes, old is when your grandchildren start school!
My boy starts Kindergarten Monday. I also feel old. Of course, a lot of that is because I am old. Most of his classmates’ parents are in their 20’s and I’m….well, let’s just say that Sinead O’Connor and Roxette were topping the charts when I graduated high school. :)
Aw, so sweet. I was just talking to a friend about how, when we were kids, we thought our neighbor was just ancient when she had a baby. Turns out she was 32. How does this phenomenon happen? The closer you get to any far off age, the more incomprehensible it seems that you ever considered it old. Denial maybe? Anyway, your daughter is adorable.
Haha, this reminds me of my first day of first grade. These are definitely the fun years!
Congratulations I have one that just started second and fourth grade. The years go by so fast.
It is an exciting time, but it does make a dad feel old. My son just started first grade too and I am left wondering where the time has gone!
