I’m waiting for a spaghetti squash to finish cooking so I can spaghetti the hell out of it. I spent the afternoon making a tomato sauce and meatballs. Emily and Erin went to a cookie party while Adrian napped. I watched the last few episodes of Gordon Ramsay’s The F Word season 5 in between bouts of messing around in the kitchen. I ate some peanut butter. I ate some pistachios. (Unusually, I’ve been starving all day today, despite eating a crazy amount of food at both breakfast and lunch. I’m pretty sure it has to do with the exhausting day Adrian and I had yesterday, out on another bike/train dadventure. I’ll spare you the details, but ow.)
After Emily and Erin returned from the cookie party, they stole Adrian and went to the park while I finished making dinner. It should be ready in three minutes. It will be delicious. I think. I’ve never made spaghetti squash before, and I have no idea how good a substitute it will be for semolina spaghetti. But I figure whatever I put this sauce on is going to taste awesome, because this sauce is awesome, because I am awesome.
What are you doing right now?
I’m twittering with my insane twitter friends, trying to ignore the zombies my husband is watching on tv. That’s what I’m doing right now. Well, RIGHT now, I”m typing this comment. But you know what I mean.
Sitting at my computer while Ironclad (a not-half-bad historical action movie) plays and the husband works on our kitchen floor (he’s installing laminate flooring; it’s a nice change from the bare concrete we’ve had for 7 years. My house is kinda torn apart because of it, but I’m hoping tomorrow I can get it cleaned up (mostly).
Today was a mostly relaxing day at home, except that my kid was an absolute torment – pressing all my buttons, mood swings, just a torment. I’m hoping tomorrow is an improvement. Dinner was an odd combination of steak and chicken wings, but it required minimal work on my end so I went with it.
Right now I’m finally relaxing – Hubby and I walked a walkathon this morning, then went to my brother’s house to watch the Patriots win and each a sinful amount of pasta. And now Hubby is breaking out the ice cream bowls.
Finally winding down and checking my phone. Kids asleep & husband waatching tv. Debating whether I want to read or play WWF. How’d the sauce turn out?
… LaceyJane4138 if you’re looking for a new WWF challenge ; )
Basically I am just sitting here. Gestatin’
I was in the middle of reading this, when I took a break to cogitate.

Love Spaghetti Squash!! Crazy how much it looks like spaghetti after it’s cooked and it tastes awesome with a good sauce. And much healthier than pasta too! As for what I’m doing right now..playing on my iPhone, reading my favorite Blogs because my 3 year old is sick with a cold, sleeping in between us and coughing a lot which makes it hard to fall asleep. :(
